FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Everything you need to know about working with SkywardFocus.
How much does drone photography cost for real estate?
Aerial photography starts at $150 for properties under 2,000 sq ft and goes up to $300 for properties under 5,000 sq ft. You receive up to 15 high-resolution aerial images. Contact for exact pricing, as estimates may vary by location. View full pricing →
What is FPV drone video and how is it different from regular drone footage?
FPV (First-Person View) drones fly through spaces like a bird, passing through doorways, down hallways, and around rooms in one continuous cinematic shot. Traditional drones hover outside and capture static aerial views. FPV creates an immersive walkthrough experience that makes buyers feel like they're physically touring the property. How do drone photos help sell my house?
Aerial photos help your listing stand out in competitive markets like Winston-Salem and the Piedmont Triad. Drone photography shows the full property and lot, gives buyers context about the neighborhood and surroundings, and creates a stronger first impression online.
Are you FAA licensed and insured?
Yes. I hold an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, which is required for all commercial drone operations in the United States. I also carry comprehensive drone liability insurance to protect you and your property during every flight.
What areas do you serve?
I'm based in Kernersville, NC and serve the entire Piedmont Triad region including Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point, Clemmons, Lexington, and Thomasville. I'm happy to travel to other areas, so just ask. View all service areas →
How long does it take to get my photos or video?
Aerial photography is typically delivered within a few days of the shoot. Video projects (including FPV tours and aerial videography) take 3–7 business days depending on the package and editing complexity. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee.
What happens if the weather is bad on shoot day?
Safety is my top priority. If weather conditions aren't suitable for flying (rain, high winds, low visibility), I'll reschedule at no additional cost. I monitor weather forecasts closely and will communicate proactively if we need to adjust timing.
Can you fly inside my property?
Yes! FPV drones are specifically designed for indoor flight. They're smaller and more maneuverable than outdoor drones, allowing me to navigate through hallways, rooms, and even staircases for stunning interior flythroughs.
What resolution are the photos and videos?
Photos are delivered in high resolution suitable for both web and print use. All video is captured in 4K (3840x2160) resolution at 60fps, with professional color grading and editing included in every package.
Do you offer virtual tours?
My FPV drone tours serve as a cinematic alternative to traditional virtual tours. Rather than a static click-through experience, FPV creates a flowing, cinematic video that gives viewers an immersive feel for the property. See FPV tour pricing →
What is event print photography?
I attend car shows, meets, drift events, and local events with a full on-site print station. I photograph your car during the event, do a quick edit on the spot, and hand you a professionally printed photo before you leave. Digital files are also available. Learn more →
What print sizes are available at events?
Multiple sizes are available on-site, from a quick grab print all the way up to a display-quality wall piece. Contact me ahead of the event for current sizing and pricing options.
What events do you cover?
Car shows, car meets, drift events, track days, club events, sponsored shows, and local community events across NC and the surrounding region. If you're organizing an event and want photography coverage with on-site prints, reach out and let's talk.
Can you bring drone coverage to a car event?
Yes, where the event permits it. Aerial shots of a car show or track day add a perspective nobody else at the event can offer. I always check airspace restrictions and confirm with the organizer before flying.
How do I book you for my event?
Send me a message with the event name, date, and location. I'll confirm availability and we can go over what coverage makes sense for your show.
How do I book a shoot?
Simply fill out the contact form or call me at (336) 515-0925. I'll get back to you as soon as possible to schedule your shoot.
